The 2026 Solheim event kicked off with a traditional pairings party on Friday, April 10th with drinks and appetizers for competitors. The teams were chosen by Blue Team Captain Darla Beaty and Co-Captain Darla Kirby and Red Team Captain Anne Wainwright and Co-Captain Samantha Mikeska.

The competition ended with the Blue Team scoring 6 points and the Red Team Scoring 3 points. With the Best Ball format, points were awarded for winning, the front 9, the back 9, and the overall 18. Unfortunately, due to heavy rains on Sunday, the second day of play had to be cancelled.
The WLGA appreciates the competitors for their participation and the team captains for their preparation, planning and leadership. We are looking forward to next year’s competition!
