Maureen Einspanier and Jacque Watson – “Whoa! Sammons Golf Course is really beautiful. Maureen and I paired up to play in their member-guest tournament on Thursday (April 30th). We had a blast. I (Jacque) was lucky enough to land on the #2 green for closest to the pin. Maureen was hitting the ball long and far; so beautiful. I made a few putts and we came in first in our flight. Had a wonderful lunch and enjoyed seeing old friends. Lovely day. Wish you had been there.”
Linda Crelin – “I was invited to play in Sammons Ladies Golf Association April 30th member-guest tournament by my buddy, Marty Boyd. The weather was beautiful and we were able to play pretty well together. Won 2nd low net in our flight. I also won closest to the pin on #8 (for those of you who have played there, that is the former #11). Although it was a fantastic hit, it landed in the left hand bunker but popped out and ended up about a foot from the hole. What luck. A delicious lunch was served following and it was wonderful seeing old friends as well.”
