With a field of 8 teams with 32 players, the Sadie Hawkins tournament participants enjoyed perfect weather and beautiful course conditions. The new front nine format was a “1, 2,3” game with one score counted on par 5’s, two scores counted on par 4’s and three scores on par 3’s. The back nine was the traditional scramble format.
In the Sadie Flight, Darla Beaty, Darla Kirby, Garrett Beaty and Pat Harvey scored an 87 or first place net. In second place net, the team of Sue Fetherman, Kiersten Morgan, Joel Brown, and Jesse Martinez scored a net 89.
In the Hawkins Flight, Shelly Boley, Suzanne Siskey, Mike Boley and Thomas Siskey earned first place net scoring 84. Second place net went to the team of Sharon Powell, Paula Wilson, Bill Wilson and Jamey Secrest scoring an 88.
Closest to the Pin on Hole on #6 went to Vicki Harris, and on Hole #16, Jesse Martinez received Closest to the Pin.
Every team participating in the Skins game earned skins and received payouts by flight.
Josh Peschel from the Pro Shop assisted with preplanning and setting up the tournament, and Angelina Vinson, Head Pro, supported the WLGA with the tournament coordination along with Meghan Justice, Events Coordinator. The WLGA appreciates their support for this event.
